“I helped the North East cultural agency develop its online proposition”
Audiences North East was a regional agency set up in 2004 to increase the number and range of people engaging with cultural activity in the North East of England to the mutual benefit of audiences and cultural providers. It is the most important new cultural agency to be created in the North East region, part of a strong infrastructure of agencies including One North East, NGI, NEMLAC, Culture North East, Northern Film and Media and Arts Council England, working together to make the North East a world-class destination for visitors and residents alike.
I was engaged during 2004/5 to assist with the development of a strategic e-commerce operation, providing e-ticketing and online cultural information to support the North East region.
Having completed strategic and requirement definition workshops, I prepared a detailed Request for Proposal document in order to commence the procurement process for the new e-commerce solution, and secure finance from appropriate funding bodies.
